Ham and Friends - Leeds
Ham & Friends was born out of a passion for bringing together the very best produce - all enjoyed in a relaxed, welcoming environment
Our kitchen is headed up by young, ambitious, local chef Joel Monkman. We aim to choose the best produce at any time – be it vegetables, dairy, fresh meat, charcuterie or cheese. We carefully select the suppliers we work with to bring you the best quality produce we possibly can, working closely with them to choose what we’re going to sell. The menu will be changing regularly depending on seasonality and how products are tasting. Provenance and quality are key and we aim to showcase fantastic produce in it’s best condition.  As well as an evening service Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm, we will also be serving up brunch along with hangover cures from our Bloody Mary cart every Saturday and Sunday from 11am.

Macleods at The Coniston Hotel - Coniston Cold
Macleod's Restaurant is a traditional yet elegant, bright and airy restaurant which has been popular for many years with those looking for a special dinner on business or for romantic or indeed family occasions. The recently extended Macleod's can also be used for private dining, up to 60 people. it is open every evening serving beautifully prepared organic and locally sourced dishes. As far back as 1992 Macleod’s restaurant has been the culinary centre of the hotel. Even in the early days a major focus was placed on high quality local ingredients, and when the seasons allowed, produce from the estate such as fish and game were often used in certain dishes (some of which still sit pride of place on our menu).  Today, with its crisp white table cloths, smart glassware, and exceptional service, Macleods sets a different pace and service style to the Huntsman lodge. A slightly more “old school” style, where we make no apologies for the “ladies before gentlemen” attitude that sometimes gets lost in modern restaurants. So what’s so special?  Complimentary “amuse Bouche”, homemade flavoured breads that are baked daily in our kitchens, a refined and interesting menu which packs bags of flavour and Yorkshire produce, all matched with immaculate presentation. Fine dining without all the unwanted fuss, we are really proud to call this the heart, and the start, of the Coniston culinary journey.
Six Poor Folk - Knaresborough
Six Poor Folk. The civic plaque on the exterior of our building was the inspiration for our name, value and commitment to offering proper food and drink.
We’re putting the love back into food.Sometimes a quick fix is all you need, but we want your visit to Six Poor Folk to be much more than that. We pack our food full of flavour and bring it to your table with a true sense of pride. We like taking humble, less well known cuts of meat and transforming them into something remarkable (we’re talking prep time in excess of six hours!)It’s not just about the meat; at Six Poor Folk crustaceans are king and vegetables are more than just an accompaniment. We create standalone fish and vegetarian dishes even the most fervent carnivores would be hard pushed to resist. It’s a labour of love and we wouldn’t have it any other way.A polite request…All this care and attention takes time. So during a busy service there may be a wait for your food. Thankfully our regulars have become friends, they’re more than happy to patiently sit back and soak up the atmosphere. We hope you will do the same.We look forward to sharing our bistro with you.
The Royalty - Otley
Locally sourced favourite dishes served with a laid back vibe.
A warm and hearty welcome to the Royalty, an independent free house perched on the top of Otley Chevin midst spectacular views that folk would sell their butty for. And it’s not just the views that are gradley – our food is fresh and locally sourced wherever possible which, together with our passion for the finest ingredients, we hope you can taste in every mouthful. Our menu also changes with the seasons allowing us to make the best use of nature’s pantry which means you might want to visit us more regularly. Our passion knows no bounds and is also put to good use when it comes to choosing our fine wines and range of beers including our accredited Camra LocAle cask ales. A friendly and traditional pub with a roaring fire to warm your cockles during the colder months, the Royalty is popular with walkers and cyclists. Our canine friends are also welcome in the tap room, the name of which harks back to the days when beer was drawn by a tap straight from the barrel. Stunning panoramic views across Wharfedale can be enjoyed from our outside beer garden and the conservatory with a bird’s eye view (quite literally) of flights in and out of Leeds Bradford Airport. Although not quite like being onboard at least you’re not strapped into your seat which is useful when you’re ready for another pint!
